Annual Requirements Contract for Airport Control Tower Maintenance

Provide for semi-annual maintenance on the Air Traffic Control Towers at the Arlington Municipal Airport. General Dynamics CM-300 VHF Transmitters (2) and Receiver (2), CM-200 backup VHF Transmitter (2) and Receiver (2) – These inspections shall include, but not limited to, transmitter output power verification, transmitter on frequency verification, transmitter spectrum verification, audio modulation measurements, transmitter reflected power measurements, voltage standing wave ration (VSWR) measurements on ALL RF cabling and antennas, receiver sensitivity measurements, adjacent channel rejection, squelch threshold, and remote audio levels. One (1) Harris Liberty Star Voice Switch System - This inspection and cleaning shall verify the proper operation of the following: All Touch Entry Displays (TED), jack boxes, voice switches, and All handsets/headsets. ALL City owned Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) - Inspected to verify proper back up power. Constant Current Regulators – This inspection shall include, but not be limited to, verifying local/remote operation, tracking amperages on all settings, inspect for overheating of relays and wiring, inspect relays for burnt contacts/chattering contacts, inspect all fuses and fuse holders. Rotating Beacon – This inspection shall include, but not be limited to, lamp condition, drive motor lubrication, overheated wiring, and excessive noise. RM Young back up weather system – Inspections to include, but not be limited to, two (2) displays, wind monitor, and pressure sensor for proper function and accuracy.
