Description

Work is to be performed at United States Coast Guard (USCG) Station Sabine Pass at 7034 South 1stAve Sabine Pass, TX 77655. The Station maintains a separate workout facility located on the North Eastern section of the property and requires the removal of two existing air conditioning units and replace with two new 3 TON air conditioners manufactured by Trane/Carrier/Lennox or an equivalent industry standard. This request is not limited to the outside unit but requires the replacement of existing interior thermostat control equipment. Existing ducting will be utilized, but modified to fit new units at the connection point at the exterior of the building. Operation of new air conditioning units will be controlled by 120 VAC, in conjunction with a residential digital thermostat commonly used with residential 3 ton AC units. The faulty units being removed will be disposed of in accordance with 40 CFR part 82 Subpart F EPA's National Recycling and Emission Reduction Program.
