Description

As of January 19, 2023, a developer has been selected. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to July 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Regional Transportation District (RTD) has received an unsolicited proposal to ground lease and develop RTD's Park-n-Ride (PnR) property located at 3800 Wynkoop and serving the 38th Blake Station on the University of Colorado A Line (Property). Consistent with RTD's Unsolicited Proposal Procedure and to ensure an open and competitive process, RTD is requesting alternate ground lease proposals for the site. RTD is seeking an innovative project for this site that demonstrates quality development and placemaking, increases transit ridership, creates revenue for RTD, and maintains or improves RTD transit operations. Proposals are expected to emphasize the principles of transit-oriented development: safe, walkable, and attractive communities that support the strong transit service at this location. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
