Description | All work under this contract shall be completed by October 31st, 2023. This project is located on the West Virginia Turnpike and consists of repairing substructure units with pneumatically applied concrete. There is approximately 179 square feet of repairs below 15 feet and 124 square feet of repairs above 15 feet at Bridge 3026N, 151 square feet below 15 feet and 58 square feet above 15 feet at Bridge 3026S, 516 square feet below 15 feet and 331 square feet above 15 feet at Bridge 3034N and 165 square feet below 15 feet and 17 square feet above 15 feet at Bridge 3041S that need repaired Proposals Must Be Made in the Manner Designated in the Specifications, and Must Be Accompanied by a Cashiers or Certified Check or Bid Bond in Favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, for an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Proposal or $2,000 Whichever is the Greater, and Must Be Delivered to the Office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 on or Before the Day and Hour Named. Bid Bonds May Instead Be Submitted Electronically via Bid Express. Any Bid That is Not Accompanied by a Bid Bond Delivered Electronically via Bid Express or a Cashiers Check, a Certified Check, or a Bid Bond Delivered at the Place Designated Above on or Before the Day and Hour Named Will Be Considered Irregular. All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals submitted, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding, as it may deem in its best interest.
