Description

Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom the Contract Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom the Contract Documents were not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened. State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident states current law pertaining to such states treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractors current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 requires that the City and contractors participating in CDBG projects give opportunities for job training and employment to lower income residents of the Section 3 area that is described as the Village of Beauregard. Section 3 also requires that to the maximum extent feasible contracts for work in connection with Section 3 covered projects be awarded to business concerns that are located in or owned in substantial part by persons residing in the Section 3 area. The Village of Beauregard reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
