Description

Qualified engineering firms (Offeror) for Geotechnical and Construction Monitoring Consulting Services. Frederick County is seeking a firm to provide services for Geotechnical and Construction Monitoring Consulting on an as needed basis for capital improvement projects managed by the Frederick County Public Works Department and other County Departments. These services may range from the subsurface investigations for building, roads, landfill facilities, sanitary district projects, public roads, and other capital improvement projects. These services may also include QA/QC inspections and testing, VDOT road project management and inspections. The selected consulting firm shall demonstrate experience with landfill construction especially evaluating clay liners as well as inspecting and testing synthetic liner systems. The firm shall also be familiar with the state’s dam regulations and have documented experience inspecting dams.
