Description

The California State Lands Commission is soliciting for a Contractor to perform and complete repairs to the exterior of the Commission's Huntington Beach Field Office building. Award Bidders must be a Small Business or Micro Business certified by the State of California, Department of General Services, Office of Small Business (OSDS). Bidders must have a current certification on the OSDS website to be eligible to bid on this project. This agreement is being procured under the Small Business Option (State Contracting Manual Volume 1, 5.80 A9, GC 14838.5; PCC 10335.5(c)(6), 10340(b)(6)). The Contractor must have Class B, General Contractor license and the Contractor license must be issued by the California Contractors' State License Board and must be maintained in good standing throughout the contract term. Details are provided in the solicitation package. Time of Completion - Construction should be completed within Ninety (90) WORKING DAYS from the Project Coordinator's approval of the work schedule, following the official "Notice to Proceed" from the State to the Contractor to commence construction. Timing is material to the performance of the contract. Bids shall be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: cashier's check, certified check, or bidder's bond executed by a surety made payable to the "State Lands Commission." The security deposit must be equal to 10 percent (10%) of the amount bid. Please identify "IFB Number 2022-02" on your check or bond. Upon Notice of Intent to Award, Contractor shall furnish a payment bond made payable to the "State Lands Commission" in a sum equal to 100% of the Contract value. Payment bond must be issued by a company authorized by the California Insurance Commissioners to transact surety business in California; two copies using State form STD 807.
