EST-2 Network Fire Alarm System Replacement

The objective is for Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML) A thru F- Sections and its associated wings which are the Nuclear Magnetic Resonator wing (N) and H-Wing (H) to obtain fixed price contract replacement of our EST-2 Network fire alarm control system. The HML Fire alarm System monitors many environmental changes associated with the presence of a fire and can be automatically or manually activated. The Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML), Nuclear Magnetic Resonator (NMR), and H-Wing facility system configuration includes the fire alarm control panel, and when activated it will notify and off site monitoring company who will determine if the fire department or the local building engineering department is notified. Additionally it is integrated with our Elevator's, wet pipe sprinkler systems, deluge/pre-action sprinkler systems, standpipe/hose system, and private fire service mains system which must function in accordance the NFPA #25 Standard for Inspection, Testing and Maintenance which is in Compliance with the International Fire Code. The contract is intended to provide a replacement compatible system to our existing EST-Network fire alarm control system along with the capability to be monitored by outside vendor and in-house maintenance personnel located at the Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML) and associated wings, 331 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston SC, 29412. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, administrative support, materials, tools, parts, supplies, equipment, and transportation necessary to effectively and efficiently fulfill all the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW).
