Economizer Replacement and Installation - 21

Contractor capable of replacing an existing Kentube Economizer and performing installation of subsidiary equipment at the Central Steam Plant on the University campus. The successful Contractor will be capable of providing all labor, material, and rigging equipment to perform the work as follows. This work may include, but is not limited to: removing, reconditioning and reinstalling an existing window from the North wall of the historic building; removing the existing economizer, plumbing, and med pressure steam line; furnishing, delivering, and installing a new economizer that meets or exceeds the existing performance specifications; installing new permanent rigging for R&R of the economizer and additional rigging that supports the existing exhaust; reinstalling plumbing to new economizer to include painting new insulation on removed or damaged plumbing; and removing, testing and recertifying safety devices.
