Description

This project has a Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), Veteran Owned (VO) preference and a 4% TGB subcontracting goal established. Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractor Responses will be received until 2:00 p.m. on September 30, 2020. SUMMARY OF WORK: The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1) Construction of a new 34,000 square foot Vehicle Maintenance Shop located in the city of New Ulm, MN. The project location is 2100 Palmer Avenue, New Ulm, MN 56073. 2) Site work includes site preparation, site utility extensions, access drive construction,various pavement types including concrete, asphalt compacted gravel and site restoration and landscaping. 3) Building construction consists of architectural precast concrete wall panels, load bearing masonry, structural steel frame, steel joists and deck, structural precast concrete plank, concrete slab on grade, ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer EPDM) roofing, metal wall panel exterior finishes, aluminum window systems, translucent wall panel systems and other exterior and interior framing and enclosures with related finishes. The pre-bid meeting format will adhere to social distancing and other guidance https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/indes.html provided by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
