Community Center Pool Repairs

Deck grate system surrounding the Lap and Activity Pools requires repair and replacement. The plastic angle that holds the outer portion of the grate system, adjacent to the pool deck, is failing. This failure has allowed pool and cleaning water to enter the gap beaten the deck concrete pour and the overflow channel Gunite pour. The City is requesting that the plastic angle be removed, the opening between the two concrete pours be sealed properly and replacement of the curb angle, handhold bracket, and existing grates. A caulking, chinking or other product will be utilized to reseal the area between the back of the plastic curb angle and the front of the deck slab to complete the seal. There is 210LF of angle surrounding the Lap pool and 135LF of angle surrounding the Activity pool.
