Description | The Department of Public Works and Transportation is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to establish contracts with qualified vendors to perform roadside litter and debris removal services on roadways, streets, and highway ramps located throughout Prince George's County as determined by the Department of Public Works and Transportation, Office of Highway Maintenance, Special Services Division This IFB has a mandatory Supplier Participation of 40% County-Based Small Businesses and 20% Minority Business Enterprises. Bidder will be awarded no more than three (3) per bid. In determining responsibility, in addition to price, the qualifications listed in Paragraph 23 (a) thru (j) of the General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders, will be considered by the Purchasing Agent. (Please refer to Attachment Y). The initial term of this agreement is for one (1) year and may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties for three (3) one (1) year options to be exercised one (1) year at a time. The County's obligation on this Contract beyond the initial fiscal year shall be contingent upon appropriations for the following year Submission of Questions: All questions must be submitted through SPEED.
