California Widening - City of Port Saint Lucie

California Boulevard south of St. Lucie West Boulevard, is also in need of widening from two to four lanes as the corridor is failing at peak hour travel times. To increase capacity, California Boulevard requires widening from St. Lucie West Boulevard to Crosstown Parkway. This project is in included in the City of Port St. Lucie's FY 2021-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to July of 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
