Reverchon Ballpark Design/Build Restoration and Improvements Project

Design-build (architectural, engineering, pre-construction and construction) services for the design and construction of the restoration of and improvements to the Reverchon Ballpark facility. A. Reverchon Park is over 100 years old. The 39-acre park is located between Maple Avenue, the north entry ramp to the Dallas North Tollway, Scottish Rite Hospital and the Katy Trail in the City of Dallas. The present area of the ballpark facility that is covered by the existing field, structures and parking lot is 4.25 acres or about 11% of the total park. See highlighted image below. The current city flood control maps do not show any portion of the project site to be in the 100-year flood zone. B. Present users include adult amateur leagues, high school baseball teams, City of Dallas Park and Recreation, and community groups. C. The scope of work will include assessment of the Design Criteria Package (DCP), assessment of the existing facility, preparation of design development & construction documents as well as Guaranteed Maximum Price negotiation, pre-construction services, cost estimation and construction services. The team members may include architecture, accessibility, historic preservation, structural engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, cost estimating, landscape architecture and construction disciplines as well as other disciplines that are relevant to the project. The final services and team make-up resulting from this selection process will be determined by the selected firm or team.
