Description | Proposals for Midlakes Capital Improvement Projects 2020 - Phase 3 (Volume 1 & 2) Contract #301: Super-Structure (MS Cafe') Covid-19 Construction: To the extent required by SED guidance and other applicable law, construction shall continue as long as each contractor complies with social distancing requirements, cleaning and disinfecting protocols, testing and/or proof of vaccination requirements, and all applicable law and protocols in connection with COVID-19 exposure control at the jobsite. The Instructions to Bidders, Form of Proposal, General Conditions and Supplements, Drawings. Any Bidder upon returning such set in good condition within seven (7) days after the date set for Bid opening will be refunded the deposit. Mid lakes CSD reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the Owner, all in accordance with applicable law. Mid lakes CSD further reserves its right to disqualify Bidders for any material failure to comply with the "Instructions to Bidders". A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be deposited by each Bidder with his Bid as a guarantee that in the case the contract is awarded to him, he will within ten (10) days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, and that Bidder shall not withdraw his Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the above date of Bid opening, and to guarantee the performance of all other obligations of the Bidders as set forth in Instructions to Bidders. NYS DOL Prevailing Wage applies to this project. The work is tax exempt.
