Micro-Surfacing 2022

The City of Oxford is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for the furnishing of all labor and materials necessary for the construction of the project designated as City of Oxford Micro-Surfacing 2022. Bidders are encouraged to download and review documents prior to submission. Bidders that do not follow the directions in the Submittal Requirement section will not be considered. For questions regarding the project scope, please contact John Crawley at (662) 236-2306 or john@oxfordms.net Bids are related to the construction of proposed roadway surfacing improvements to include the placement of a micro-surfacing treatment on multiple city streets within the City of Oxford as described in the Contract Documents and associated plan drawings. Materials and related work, including furnishing all surface treatment materials, roadway surface preparation and placement of the micro-surfacing application, shall be provided by the contractor as specified in the Contract Documents for the purpose of providing a finished roadway surface atop existing asphalt pavement. The successful bidder shall make provisions for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to provide the improvements as defined in the Contract Documents. All proposed micro-surfacing treatments are to be located within existing rights-of-way owned and maintained by the City of Oxford. The project will be awarded based on the best-qualified bid and is subject to the approval by the Mayor and Board of Alderman. The Board of Alderman reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities.
