Description | **As of January 3, 2024, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** For the 2022 Countywide ADA Ramp, Sidewalk, Driveway, & Curbing Improvement Project, Gloucester County, New Jersey. The approximate quantities of the principal items of work are as follows: Pay item pay unit quantity mobilization l.s. 1 clearing site l.s. 1 9" x 18" concrete vertical curb l.f. 2500 12" x 13" concrete sloping curb l.f. 200 concrete sidewalk, 4" thick s.y. 2000 detectable warning surface s.y. 100 concrete driveway, reinforced, 6" thick s.y. 200 12" concrete collar around existing manhole/inlet/ vault s.y. 150 reset existing casting unit 20 reconstructed inlet, type b, using new casting unit 10 reconstructed manhole, using new casting unit 10 reconstructed inlet, type b, using existing casting unit 200 roadway patching, full depth s.y. 2500 project advertisement date August 31, 2022. Bids must be delivered to the Purchasing Agent, Gloucester County Administration Building, 2 South Broad Street, Woodbury, New Jersey 08096 on or before the hour named. The bids must be accompanied by 1. a proposal bond approved by the county solicitor in an amount equal to TOTAL BID, BUT NOT IN EXCESS OF $20,000.00. 2. A certificate (Consent of Surety) as per N.J.S.A. 40A:11-22 from a Surety Company stating that it will provide the bidder if successful, with a performance bond and payment bond in the sum of not less than the total contract. 3. A completed Non-Collusion Affidavit. 4. A Completed Public Disclosure Information Sheet indicating stockholders in the Corporation or Partnership who owns 10% or more of its stock as provided in Chapter 33 of the Public laws of 1977. 5. Wage and Hour Compliance Acknowledgment. 6. Plan and Equipment Questionnaire. 7. Business Registration Certificate, including all subcontractors. 8. Each Bid must be signed in ink by an authorized representative of the company, and be delivered at the place and on the hour named above. If mailed, the sealed bid envelop must be within an outer mailing envelope, and be received at the Office of the County Purchasing Agent prior to the hour named above. The Purchasing Agent or The Board of County Commissioners, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities and to award the contract to the bidder whose proposal is best suited to the County's requirements. Any bid obviously unbalanced may be rejected. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, laws against discrimination because of race, religion, sex, color, etc. All bidders are hereby notified that compliance with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (Chapter 150, Law of 1963) and/or County of Gloucester rules and regulations that are applicable to this project will be required of any contract awarded. |
