Description | Engineer Estimate: Contract #1 - $1,176,000, Contract #2 - $475,000, Contract #3 - $130,000, Contract #4 - $140,000 CONTRACT #1 – Waterline Replacement: Unit price contract to provide and install 12,145 LF 8 inch PVC waterline; 100 LF of 6 inch waterline; 1,740 LF 4 inch PVC waterline; 1,020 LF 2 inch PE temporary waterline; 30 LF of 4 inch stream crossing; 18 gate valves; 5 fire hydrants; 11 Air Release Assemblies; 6 Flushout Assemblies; 23 Service Reconnections; and other work required to provide the complete system improvements project. CONTRACT #2 – Radio Read Meters: Unit price contract to provide 1,452 radio read meters (various sizes) 11 registers and transmitters, including hand held reading device and mobile data collector to the owner. Reading device must be compatible with the owners billing software. CONTRACT #3 – Telemetry: Lump sum contract to provide a cellular SCADA system at eight (8) existing locations including; booster stations, tank sites, and altitude control valves; the Main Office, and necessary accoutrements. CONTRACT #4 – Tank Repainting: Unit price contract to pressure wash clean exterior; full blast exterior roof; powertool isolated rusted areas, prime rusted areas and overcoat the entire exterior of the tank along with inspection/spot repairs of the interior (up to 5% surface area) of the Springfield Tank #1 (20’ D x 20’ H 45,000 gallons), Springfield Tank #2 (21’ D x 20’ H 50,000 gallons), and Sunrise Tank (24’ D x 30’ H 100,000 gallons). Temporary storage of at least 18,000 gallons is required at the Sunrise Tank and will operate the Sunrise Altitude Valve. Valve replacement in each of the valve vaults of the Springfield Tanks is required to isolate each tank for repaint. Mobilization to each site is included in each line item unit price. |
