Description

This work includes various manhole rehabilitation methods and procedures including chimney repair and lining; manhole lining (full depth, base and section joint); manhole pressure grouting; existing pipe connection repair; manhole riser, casting and gasket replacement, etc. Refer to the project bid form for detailed item descriptions and quantities. 1. Epoxy line existing manhole chimney (Code "A"). 2. Caulk and seal manhole frame base/cone section (Code "B") 3. Remove and replace manhole frame & cover west/ composite frame and cover (Code "CI") 4. Remove and replace manhole frame & cover west/ cast iron bolt down frame and cover (Code " CIA"). 5. Exterior Treatment - parge and seal exterior of frame and cone section (cone sections above grade) (Code " C2") 6. Drill grout and parge leaking manholes (Code "D"). 7. Replace manhole lid/ gasket (Code "E") 8. Raise manholes with concrete or composite risers as-directed (Code "F") 9. Full depth epoxy manhole lining (Code "Gl") 10.Epoxy line manhole section joints (Code "G2"). 11.Replace and caulk steel riser rings (Code "H"). 12.Manhole base section epoxy lining (Code "Y"). 13.Parge around pipe connections (Code "YY") 14.Pavement tar seal around frame (Code "YYY"). 15.Provide inflow dish (Code "X") 16.Flow control/bypass pumping. 17.Traffic control.
