Description | Construction Engineering and Inspection Services for Project No. 0092-0692 Prequalification Category: Construction Engineering and Inspection (Road & Bridge) The Department is seeking to engage one (1) firm to perform the Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the following project: Project No. 0092-0692 - This is a pavement preservation project which includes fine milling, bituminous concrete patching, joint and crack filling, placement of PMA S0.5 and the installation of epoxy pavement markings on I-95 in New Haven, East Haven and Branford. The joints at five bridges will also be replaced. This contract was advertised on June 15, 2022, with a scope code 'I'. scope code I - $ 10,000,000 - $ 14,999,999 NOTE: This contract has a 100% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) goal. Only firms certified by the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services are eligible. Proof of certification must be included with your submittal. Firms responding to this request should be of adequate size and sufficiently staffed and experienced to perform this assignment and will be required to provide the necessary staffing upon execution of the contract. The selected firms will also be required to maintain a Connecticut office for the duration of assignment, with the Project Manager available on a daily basis for the direct and visual supervision of the staff performing the majority of the assignments. Please be advised that there is no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal assigned for these contracts. All firms are advised that the prime consultant must perform the majority of the work with employees of the firm. Joint venturing will not be allowed. Small-, Minority- and Women-owned businesses are encouraged to provide submittals. The Department, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and terminate the process to retain consultant services, and is under no obligation to contract for the services specified herein. The Department, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to award subsequent phases of an assignment to other qualified firms.
