Texas LNG

The project consists of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility. Phase 1 of the Texas LNG will have a planned capacity to produce up to 2 MTA (million tonnes per annum) of LNG from approximately 275 MMcf/d or 0.28 Bcf/d of feed gas sourced from the extensive US natural gas system. Phase 2, to be developed at a later date, will increase capacity by additional 2 MTA. Off-the-shelf technology will be used for both the liquefaction process and the gas treatment plant that will be built on site to treat pipeline feed gas by removing any remaining natural gas liquids and other non-methane products before the liquefaction process. The plant will be designed to minimize environmental impact in the region. As of July 2023, construction has not started but is will be getting ready to soon. A General Contractor has been selected.
