Description

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is soliciting proposals for Electrical Component Maintenance Contract for the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) International Airport. General Scope: The Vendor shall provide services that include the personnel, labor, transportation, truck(s), tools and equipment necessary to provide maintenance on MACs electrical equipment for the listed locations at the MSP Campus. Services shall include the compilation and submission of service reports and other documents related to the maintenance work. The MAC will purchase maintenance parts and materials from the Vendor unless identical or equivalent parts or materials are available at lower prices from an alternative source. Besides these parts and materials, the Vendor shall provide all services and tasks not specifically mentioned here but necessary for complete maintenance and reliable operation. The Vendor shall obtain any required licenses and permits for the maintenance work without additional expense to MAC. Provide all maintenance work according to best electrical industry practices and in a timely and efficient manner. Services: The Vendor shall provide labor, supervision, training, testing, and technical services, which may include installation, testing, troubleshooting, adjustment, and installation of replacement parts provided by the MAC into the existing electrical system. Vendor Request for Information and Questions Due: August 31, 2023 MAC Addendum Issued: September 7, 2023 Recommendation for Award: November 6, 2023 Commission Approval: November 20, 2023 Contract Start Date: January 1, 2024 Contact for Solicitation :Sallie.karels@mspmac.org The purpose of this meeting is for MAC staff to provide Vendors an overview of the project and receive and review comments related to this solicitation from all prospective Vendors. Attendance is mandatory. Failure to attend will disqualify a vendor from offering a Proposal.Basic Tour: An electrical system tour will be conducted following the pre-proposal meeting. Vendors should confirm their attendance by e-mail to sallie.karels@mspmac.org. The tour will consist of a typical substation and associated distribution. It is not intended that this tour be all inclusive. Vans will be available to provide transportation to the tour location and back to the MAC General Office. Vendors should allow for approximately 2 hours for the conference and tour The initial term for this contract will be for three-years. The Contract start date and time will be January 1, 2024 @ 12:01 a.m., and is effective to December 31, 2026, @ 12:00 a.m. Central Standard Time. The vendor shall provide firm, pricing for each year of the three-year term, subject to price adjustments for locations as added to the system. If it is necessary to revise any part of the Solicitation, or if additional data is necessary to enable the exact interpretation of provisions of this Solicitation, an addendum will be provided to all vendors.
