Description

As of August 3, 2023, project will rebid but no definite date yet. Bid documents must be downloaded from, and bids must be submitted to, the Teton County Public Purchase site. Bids must beaccompanied by a money order, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Owner for 5% of the bid amount (to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bidder fails to enter promptly into a written agreement contract and furnish the required documents). Money orders/checks can be mailed to Teton County/Jackson Parks & Recreation, ATTN: Rachel Rudd, PO Box 811, Jackson, WY 83001. Please ensure that it is received before bid opening or your bid may be rejected. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the project.Invitation for formal bids being accepted for Miller Park Pedestrian Sidewalk and ADA Improvements Project. The project will generally consist of excavation, rough grading, concrete sidewalk and ramps, irrigation, striping, and landscaping. A Bidder, in submitting a proposal, thereby represents that he is fully qualified, properly licensed, staffed and equipped to properly perform the work in accordance with all applicable laws and local ordinances having jurisdiction. Each bidder must be prepared to submit within five days of Owner's request, written evidence such as financial data, previous experience, present commitments and other such data as may be called for which would demonstrate qualifications to perform the work. Such data shall include a list identifying all Subcontractors, Suppliers and other persons or organizations responsible for supplying principal items of material and equipment. Such a list shall be accompanied by an experience statement with pertinent information regarding similar projects and other evidence of qualification of each such subcontractor, supplier, person or organization if requested by the Owner. If the Owner after due investigation has reasonable objection to any proposed Subcontractor, supplier, or other person or organization, may before the Notice of Award is given request the apparent successful Bidder to submit an acceptable substitute without an increase in Bid price. In addition, each Bid must contain evidence of Bidder's qualification to do business in the state where the project is located or covenant to obtain such qualification prior to award of the contract. The project will generally consist of excavation, rough grading, concrete flat work, electrical, irrigation and landscaping. Project Location: North Side Miller Park, 255 W Deloney Ave, Jackson, WY 83001. All work shall be completed no later than June 30, 2022. Notice to proceed will be issued no later than April 13, 2022. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. This guarantee shall be executed in favor of and guarantee to Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department that the bidder will execute the Agreement and furnish the Performance and Labor and Material Bonds as required by the Contract Documents. If the Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Contract and the Contract Security within 15 days of the Notice of Award; Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security of that Bidder will be forfeited. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be submitted to Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation's Parks Planner in writing. Interpretation or clarification considered necessary by the Parks Planner, in response to questions, inquiries or requests for additional information will be issued in the form of Addenda, and copies of each Addendum will be issued to all prospective bidders. Also, prospective bidders may, during the bidding period, be advised by Addendum of additions to, deletions from or changes in the requirements of the Contract Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening bids may not be answered. The Parks Planner and the Owner will not be responsible for the authenticity or correctness of oral interpretations of the Contract Documents or form information obtained in any other manner than through the media of Addenda. Receipt of each Addendum shall be acknowledged by Bidders in their proposals and each Addendum shall be considered a part of the Contract Documents. Failure to acknowledge receipt of any Addenda issued may invalidate a proposal as incomplete. The prices for work and the names, addresses and signatures of the Bidders shall be clearly and legibly written. Signatures shall be signed in the spaces provided and in compliance with all legal requirements. The successful Bidder shall, within seven days after notice that his proposal has been accepted, enter into a contract. Upon entering into a contract, the successful Bidder shall furnish a performance bond or irrevocable letter of credit for 100% of the bid total. In addition, the successful Bidder shall provide proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance, as identified with the contract. Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to accept any part, or all, of any bid, and to reject any and all, or parts of any and all bids. Any proposal which contains items not specified, or which does not complete all the items scheduled for bid, shall be considered informal and may be rejected on this basis. Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in proposals.
