Description | The United Nations Development Corporation (UNDC), a public benefit corporation of the State of New York, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all material, equipment, labor, and oversight to replace a supplemental HVAC unit at Three UN Plaza, a Class A, mixed-use, mid-rise building consisting of office tenancy, located in east midtown Manhattan. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing A/C equipment, furnish and installation of new HVAC equipment in the 1st floor Mailroom including associated ceiling work, piping, and electrical work. Contractor to furnish a 4-ton water-cooled HVAC unit, Climate Master model # TCH048 or equivalent, as approved by project engineer. Modifications to certain field conditions might be required and will be detailed in a set of drawings created by the project engineer. CR Number: 2095065 The minimum required qualifications are as follows: A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in this field. Licensed by the State of New York. Liability insurance of $5,000,000. A resume of current assignments in New York City at comparable buildings. Interested companies must provide evidence of their qualifications and relevant experience including a minimum of five (5) client references. For each client, describe the project, the project's date, the services performed, and provide the name, address, and telephone number for a person at the client's firm familiar with such work. Companies determined by UNDC to be qualified will be contacted and provided with a bid package and the date and time of a mandatory pre-bid onsite meeting. This solicitation is subject to the procurement lobbying restrictions of New York State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k. These statutes impose certain restrictions on communications between a governmental entity and an offerer during the procurement process.
