Description | The project consists of extending public drinking water and sanitary sewer facilities in the Village limits by directionally boring 12-inch watermain and 6-inch sanitary force main north from the existing terminations located south of the Ryan Street Lift Station along the Eau Claire River Trail, under the Eau Claire River, and up to Trotzer Lane for approximately 2,100 feet. A future lift station will be located on the south side of the Trotzer Lane and Apache Lane intersection. Gravity sanitary sewer and watermain will be constructed east along Trotzer Lane to Apache Lane and north along Apache Lane and North Apache Lane for approximately 2,100 feet to existing watermain and sanitary sewer located at the intersection of Estate Drive and North Apache Lane. Watermain and gravity storm sewer will be extended 350 feet west along River Bend Road. The utility project will result in approximately 3,300 feet of combined street reconstruction along Trotzer Lane, Apache Lane, Kiowa Lane, River Bend Road, and North Apache Lane. The reconstructed streets will have 14-foot asphaltic paved lanes (10-foot travel way and 4-foot bike lane in either direction) and 2-foot concrete shoulder edging the pavement. Driveways will be reconstructed within the right of way with concrete driveway aprons. The project includes removal of existing driveway culverts, roadway pavement, base aggregate, and trees. Improvements associated with the project will include water main, laterals, bends, valves, hydrants, sanitary sewer and manholes, sanitary force main, concrete driveway aprons, concrete shoulder, asphaltic pavement, drainage swales, pavement marking, permanent signing, landscaping, and restoration. An erosion control implementation plan (ECIP) will be required and erosion control will be properly maintained as well as local traffic control measures. |
