Fairgrounds Improvement Project

For the completion of several improvement projects at the Ulster County Fairgrounds. The improvements will be made to the sanitary sewer and campground area. To provide separate costs for each of the three construction areas, the North RV Parking Area, the South Camper RV Area, and the Sand Bed Chlorination Area project. The following is a brief description of the project work items in three areas of the Fairgrounds, i.e., the North, South, and the Sand Bed areas. Furnish and install a complete and functional sanitary pump station and electric service in the North RV Parking Area. Furnish and install a new lid, pumps, rails, and controls with panel for the existing ticket booth sanitary pump station in the North Area. Furnish and install three (3) sanitary sewage dump stations with water supply spigots in the North RV Parking Area. Furnish and install one new five-thousand-gallon septic tank in the North RV Parking Area. Remove existing utility poles and trees as indicated in the South Camper Area. Furnish and install new electric service and associated panel boards in the South Camper Area per plan. Furnish and install electric service connections to individual South Camper RV sites per plan. Furnish and install new wood guide rail along camper divider in South Area per plan. Furnish and install water and sewer stubs to individual RV sites in South Area per plan. Furnish and install new gravity sanitary sewer and two (2) manholes to connect to existing sanitary sewer manhole in South Area. Furnish and install new polyethylene water line from existing water vault to campground services in South Area. Furnish and install new stone access road for Sand Bed Area. Furnish and install new 1,500-gallon chlorine contact tank with tablet chlorinator in the Sand Bed Area. Furnish and install new tablet chlorination unit in existing vault in the Sand Bed Area. Furnish and install all sanitary sewer piping and associated restoration to the Sand Bed Area. Furnish and install all required piping for gravity and forced sanitary, and domestic water supply in bedded trenches. Backfill, compact, and restore grass and asphalt areas. Furnish and install all conduit, conductors, j-boxes, fittings, strut, and connectors, etc. as required for pump, control, camper hook-ups, etc., for all line and low voltage power requirements.
