Furnishing of Services for Household Hazardous Waste Disposal

The services to be provided include the receipt, classification, packaging, transportation, treatment, and proper recycling/disposal of household (hazardous) chemical waste at a facility, in accordance with all applicable permits and approvals issued by State and federal authorities, including but not limited to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the United State Department of Transportation (USDOT) (collectively, the "Services"), all as more particularly described in the bid specifications. The successful bidder will enter into a three (3) year contract with the MCIA to provide the Services at three (3) Household Hazardous Waste ("HHW") Disposal Events to be scheduled for each of the years 2021, 2022 and 2023, with two (2) option years (2024 & 2025). The MCIA will conduct three (3) HHW Disposal Events in the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. One event will be scheduled in March, June, and September.
