Description | For the construction of Cooling Tower Replacement pursuant to Chapter 2269 of the Texas Government Code. The awarded firm will be expected to provide services in accordance with specifications and conditions embodied within this document. Upon receipt of bids, the District will review the bids and may request additional information, including product or service presentations, as appropriate. Successful proposers shall pay at least the minimum wage rate set forth in the Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule ascertained and adopted by the Board of Trustees to all employees and subcontractors performing work on this project and in no event shall the successful proposer pay less than the rate adopted. Submittals are to be sealed and clearly labeled as original or copy and must include the bid title, bid number, due date and time of opening. Failure to follow these instructions may result in rejection of your response. The Owner may disqualify any Proposal not prepared and submitted in accordance with the proposal provisions. By submitting a Proposal, the Proposer hereby represents and warrants to the Owner that the Proposer has read and understands the Proposal Documents and the Contract Documents and the Proposal is made in accordance with the Proposal Documents. Proposer agrees to hold the proposal open for acceptance for ninety (90) calendar days from the proposal date. Proposers may request permission to withdraw a proposal prior to the actual time for proposal opening. Such request must be made in person or in writing at the same location designated to receive the proposal. The district will return the proposal. documents unopened at that time. Questions should be submitted by email and addressed to the Purchasing Office to Craig.Pruett@pfisd.net. Answers to questions shall be made public by addenda to be posted on the districts website by the end of business. Answers shall be posted electronically. Questions will not be accepted by phone. Pflugerville ISD will only respond to questions submitted as directed above. RFP Available - October 28, 2022 Vendor Questions Due - November 10, 2022 Answers Posted by November 11, 2022 Proposal Award (Anticipated) - December 15, 2022 Awards Posted (Anticipated) - December 16, 2022 Contract Begins (Anticipated) - January 01, 2023 Firms should be fully licensed to complete all work required. Copies of all applicable licenses should be provided with your response Bid, Payment, and Performance bonds will be required for this project. Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price must be provided by the awarded firm within five days of contract award The district intends to award a single contract to complete this project, but retains the right to award in any manner deemed to provide best value for the district. This Project shall include a liquidated damages provision providing for liquidated damages for each calendar day of delay until the Work is substantially complete. For this Project, the liquidated damages shall be stipulated as $500.00 per project, per day. |
