Description

In general, the work shall include the removal of 18 inches of existing base material and subgrade soils, install a geogrid material, install 12 inches of breaker run and eight inches of crushed aggregate base course. The approximate units of the major work items are as follows: Excavate and dispose of 4,200 cubic yards of base and soil. Install 7,800 square yards of a geogrid material. Install 2,600 cubic yards of three inch minus breaker run. Install 1,700 cubic yards of 1.25-inch dense graded crushed aggregate base course.
