Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid price. Performance Bond - in an amount not less than 100% of the total amount payable to the Contractor by the terms of the Contract. The Common Council of the City of Lockport, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to consider the reputation and experience of the Bidder in making its selection; to waive any informalities or minor deviations from the specifications, and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder, if for good and sufficient reasons, it is considered in the best interest of the City of Lockport, to do so.
