Description | Contract No. 1 General Rehabilitation 14 Mountain View Avenue Base Bid Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include : Furnish & Install : Two (2) New Exterior Doors & Two (2) New Storm Doors, New Asphalt Shingled Roof, Five (5) New Vinyl Replacement Windows as detailed in Scope of Work, and also Eight (8) New Vinyl Replacement Porch Windows (Lead Item) Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors as well as lead hazard remediation work items detailed in the Lead Risk Assessment & LBP Inspection. 14 Mountain View Avenue - Additive Bid Furnish & Install Two (2) Solid Picture Windows, and Install Seamless Gutters on entire house The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. Bid Solicitations and Contract Documents are provided by the Development Authority of the North Country as part of the Authoritys due diligence in its role as the NYS AHC Consultant for the Village of Tupper Lake . The Village of Tupper Lake is the recipient of the New York State AHC Grant funding. The Development Authority, working with Village of Tupper Lake staff, will review all bids submitted for completeness. The Development Authority will make recommendation to the homeowner on the lowest responsible bidder. The Rehabilitation Contract will be between the Homeowner and the Contractor. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS AHC assisted project will be extended to lower income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies. Please Note that due to the Corona Virus -All Participants Planning to attend the Pre Bid Meetings must be Covid Free, not have any Covid Symptoms nor have come into contact with anyone that has had Covid for 14 days prior to the meeting day and time. In addition, any participants at the meeting must be wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart for social distancing.
