| Description | The work consists of total removal and replacement of the existing EPDM and PVC roof assemblies including all existing flat and tapered insulations, underlying organic felt vapor barrier, associated flashings and incidentals as shown on the roof plans down to the existing metal roof decking. Metal roof deck treatments may be required prior to the installation of the replacement roof assemblies. If necessary, make repairs and/or roof deck treatments as contained within the specification sections. All work shall be in strict accordance with published criteria of the roofing industry and in compliance with the specification sections contained herein. It is the contractor’s sole responsibility, to field verify all existing roof system compositions and conditions that will affect the execution of the work. |
