The City of Plantation, Florida is soliciting proposals (Pursuant to City's Code Section 2-220(f)) for East Water Treatment Fuel Tank Replacement work will generally consist of, but is not limited to, the following: The purpose of this project is to design and build the replacement of the two existing aboveground fuel storage tanks at the City of Plantation East Water Treatment Plant (EWTP), located at 500 NW 65th Avenue, Plantation, FL 33317. The Contractor is responsible for designing, furnishing, and installing all items identified in this solicitation. The project shall include all work associated with replacement of existing fuel storage tanks, including demolition and closure of two existing 12,000 gallon aboveground fuel storage tanks, provision and installation of two proposed 12,000 gallon fuel storage tanks, replacement of fuel tank piping, demolition and replacement of existing fuel day tanks and fuel pumps, connection to existing generator fuel piping, and restoration of the project site to existing conditions. The proposed fuel tank system shall have secondary containment and all accessories required for a complete installation and fully functioning system. PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION BOND - REQUIRED (100%) A Bid Security is required for this solicitation the original bid security shall be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City of Plantation, 400 NW 73rd Ave, Plantation, Florida 33317, BEFORE the due date of the solicitation Proposals will be opened, read and recorded pursuant to State of Florida Law and City of Plantation code.
