Description | The scope includes thermoplastic striping hot spray and refurbishing of striping and pavement markings, reflective pavement markings, and durable waterborne traffic paint striping. Three roads are included on the base bid. In addition to the base bid, the County would like to receive pricing for striping the remainder of Road 1 – CR 769. The following roads are included on the Base Bid: Road 1: CR 769 (AKA Kings Highway) – Southern Portion: Limits: Charlotte County Line on the southern end and roughly 600 ft. north of the intersection of CR 761 on the north end (refer to attached location maps for additional information on road limits) Scope: This road includes thermoplastic hot spay of solid and skip, 6” wide stripes; thermoplastic refurbishing of 18” gore stripes, stop bars, arrow symbols and text markings and reflective pavement markers (RPMs). Hot spray shall be 30 mil minimum thickness and receive FDOT Type 1 glass beads. Refurbishing shall be 60 mil minimum thickness and receive FDOT Type 2 glass beads. Road 2: SW Egret Circle: Limits: SW Kingsway Circle to SW Kingsway Circle (refer to attached location maps for additional information on road limits). Scope: This road includes durable waterborne traffic paint centerline striping (double yellow solid) breaking at entrances to developments and stop bars at the connections to SW Kingsway Circle. Durable waterborne paint shall be 25 wet mils minimum. Road 3: SW Kingsway Circle: Limits: Charlotte County line on southern side to CR 769 (AKA Kings Highway) on the north sides (refer to attached location maps for additional information on road limits). Scope: This road includes durable waterborne traffic paint centerline (double yellow solid) and edge line breaking at entrances to developments and intersecting roadways. Stop bars are included on connecting County roads (SW Austin Avenue, SW Courtney Drive and SW Pembroke Circle). Durable waterborne paint shall be 25 wet mils minimum. The follow road is include included as the Additional Bid: Additional Road: CR 769 (AKA Kings Highway) – Northern Portion: Limits: Roughly 600 feet north of intersection of CR 761 on the south end to State Road 72 on the north end (refer to attached location maps for additional information on road limits) Scope: This road includes thermoplastic hot spay of solid and skip, 6” wide stripes; thermoplastic refurbishing of 18” gore stripes, stop bars, arrow symbols and text markings and reflective pavement markers (RPMs).
