Cawana Road at Brannen Street & Cawana Road at S&S Railroad Bed Road Intersection Improvements - ENG-123f - City of Statesboro

This area is currently growing with the construction of schools, churches, walking trails, and residential housing. The area is still largely undeveloped, but expected to become a prime area for development. This CIP is to prepare for that growth. A traffic study of this area indicated intersection improvements would improve the level of service of this road network due to increased traffic upon development. This CIP will help construct those improvements as they are needed (e.g. construct designated right/left turn lanes). This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 24, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
