North Hartsville Elementary Fence

Work for fence service around North Hartsville Elementary School shall include but not be limited to the following: 1. Contractor is to remove the existing fence then purchase and install approximately 975 linear feet of 6 foot high black vinyl coated chain link fencing. Approximately 165 feet from covered walkway bus ramp to corner of School Lane and Byrd Street. Approximately 645 feet of 6 foot high fence on Byrd Street past the electric gate. Another approximate 160’ of fence would need to be replaced at back of school. One 10’ wide double gate will be installed on School Lane. The 10’ foot gate will replace the existing gate there now. 2. Contractor is responsible for buying and installing all material necessary to do above work. All trash is to be removed and deposed of in a proper manner. Any excess dirt is to be removed from area. Fence post are to be installed approximately 2 feet in ground and supported with 40 pounds of cement corner or gate post 80 pounds. Work is to be completed in a workmanlike manner and in according with recommended chain link fences practices. All chain link fencing is to be 6 gauge wires. All frame work to be HF40. Terminal post to be 3”OD and line post will be 2” OD (1-7/8 actual) and top post 1-5/8”OD.
