Description

To install new asphalt pavement at the New Admin located at 210 Turner Street, Beaufort, NC 28516. Details are as follows: The Contractor shall remove/reuse existing gravel to regrade and compact new parking lot area. The Contractor shall furnish area with new ABC if required. The Contractor shall pave the new area, no less than two inches thick, as outlined in picture attached taking special consideration for water meters and other utilities within the new parking lot area. The Contractor, if required, shall coordinate with the town to raise these meters so they may be flush with new pavement and concrete. The Contractor shall grade asphalt to allow natural drainage away from the building, stabilize the banks of the new parking lot to prevent destabilization. All surfaces shall be level and flat to avoid pooling of water. The Contractor shall saw cut cracked concrete and pour new concrete entrance leading to new parking lot location. The Contractor shall keep existing concrete pad underneath the carport. The contractor shall saw cut the ends, if required, so the asphalt is installed flush with the concrete pad.
