2023-02 Francis Sites - Hafer's Point Sewer Improvements

The work includes the construction of approximately: MOBILIZATION 1 LS 8" PVC C900 SANITARY SEWER 300 LF 4" PVC SCH 40 SANITARY SEWER SERVICE 75 LF SODDING 700 SF CONST. MANHOLE (SANITARY) 18 LF together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. Work shall commence upon approval of the Contract by the Board of Trustees and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work under the Contract must be substantially complete by November 10, 2023, and complete and ready for final payment in accordance with the contract documents by May 17, 2024. A bid security as defined by Iowa Code Chapter 26.8 and in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of the Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary District shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
