Kingsway Regional High School 2022 Facility Improvements

The Work consists of the following including, but not limited to, the following (see the construction documents for details): 1. SCIENCE LAB RENOVATION: All work associated with renovating (2) two Standard Classrooms to (1) one Science Lab and (2) two offices. a. Completely renovate approximately 1500 SF of existing building area as specified and detailed. 2. ADDITIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE RENOVATION: All work associated with renovating a portion of existing North Media Center to construct (4) four office and access passageways. a. Completely renovate approximately 1765 SF of existing building area as specified and detailed. 3. STUDENT WELLNESS/BLENDED LEARNING AREA RENOVATION: All work associated with renovating the remainder of the existing North Media Center to construct a new Student Wellness Center with (1) standard Classroom, (1) Small Group Room and (1) Large Open Wellness Center. a. Completely renovate approximately 4000 SF of existing building area as specified and detailed. b. Extensive loose furniture layout by Others under separate contract. Coordination and related power connections included in this Contract. 4. HVAC EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT: At South Side of 100 Wing +/- 2001 Building Addition, replace (2) existing HRUs with (2) new Dedicated Outside Air Systems. 5. HVAC EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT ALTERNATE BIDS: Separate Alternate Bids for 1) Installing new air conditioning system at existing Kitchen and Faculty Dining areas, 2) Gymnasium Area HRU Replacement work and 3) Cafeteria Area HRU Replacement work. Refer to Schedule of Alternates on Bid Form-Part C-Alternates. 6. CHILLED WATER PIPE INSULATION REPLACEMENT ALTERNATE BID: All work associated with removing existing chilled water pipe insulation (including complying with mold abatement procedures) and replacing with new. 7. MOLD ABATEMENT PROCEDURES REQUIRED. The following procedures shall be used for the removal of existing, compromised chilled pipe insulation from selected areas of the building.
