Garmisch and Hallam Stormpipe and Watermain Replacement Project

As of April 13 the project was awarded to Heyl Construction Inc, awarded amount not available. Reference Number 0000312279 Install next section of stormpipe in alignment with the Garmisch St Storm Masterplan. The corrugated metal pipe in Garmisch is failing in several sections; including areas along the block between Main to Hallam. Several hundred feet of pipe bottom is completely rusted out, and the bedding is exposed and eroding. This project will replace the pipe to restore proper function and reduce safety hazards associated with failing pipe. Modify Stormwater Infrastructure to alleviate drainage issues that prevent safe loading/unloading for the Yellowbrick building. Project includes the replacement of 2 drywells that are not functioning causing negative affect to the building. Major icing issue will be resolved due to drainage improvements. Replace the older Cast line watermain on Hallam from Garmisch to 1st St with DIP. Install EV charging station base at the Yellowbrick.
