RFP Construction Manager - FL5546 Athletics Improvements

Question Acceptance Deadline 12/14/2022 07:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online No This project is the combination of three (3) projects; FL2213 / Aquatics Center Improvements for Athletics; FL2214 / Whalen Gym Improvements for Athletics; 2023 - 104M22 / Replace Roof, Aquatics Center. FL2213 / Aquatics Center Improvements for Athletics will repurpose the Aquatics Center building to accommodate the athletic department's need for an improved weight room, expanded physical therapy services provided in conjunction with a private entity, and expanded athletic training facilities. Funding for project # FL2213 has been provided for work through the Schematic Design phase only. It is anticipated that full project funding in the range of 4 to 5 Million Dollars will be available in early 2023. FL2214 / Whalen Gym Improvements for Athletics is planned to take place once FL2213 has been completed and will take spaces previously used for the weight room and athletic training and convert them to improved locker room spaces, bathrooms, and offices for teams and coaching staffs. Funding for project # FL2214 has been provided through the Schematic Design Phase only. FLC fundraising for this project will begin after the Schematic Design project scope and estimated costs have been provided. 2023 - 104M22 / Replace Roof, Aquatics Center will take place concurrently with FL2213 and will consist of a full removal and replacement of the roofing system. State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) for project # 2023-104M22 in the amount of $1,014,088 have been appropriated and are currently available.
