Description | 1. Drain pool taking precaution to prevent uplift. Pool was installed in water bearing soil. Debris shall be disposed of by contractor 2. Remove all existing marcite and lane line tile and targets, exposing concrete foundation according to state and federal guidelines. Pool marcite demolition material shall be legally disposed of. Contractor is responsible for providing dumpsters if needed. 3. Reuse main drain covers. 4. Clean and prep foundation concrete for proper application of marcite, including repair of any broken steps 5. Apply a scratch coat 6. Apply Diamond Brit or approved equivalent 7. Replace six (6) lane line tile and targets using 2-inch x 2-inch tiles. Color Black or Navy Blue. 8. Upon completion of marcite coat, filling of the pool to begin 9. Contractor shall provide an option to truck in 50,000 or 100,000 gallons of water 10. Job site shall be cleaned and cleared to ready space for operation to public Opening of Municipal Pool 1. Opening of pool shall be completed upon completion of marcite and filling. 2. Pool gutter shall be cleaned and flushed. This water shall run to waste and not through the filtration system 3. Main drain covers shall be inspected when pool is drained for condition and expiration dates. 4. Service contractor shall clean filter tank, both wet and dry compartments. Contractor shall also inspect condition of sand and report to Aquatics Coordinator of condition. Including new gaskets on filter tanks. Contractor shall repair pressure gauges and pneumatic valves as needed. City reserves the right to remove the gauge and valve repair and deduct cost from lump sum of opening costs 5. Service contractor shall clean filter tank, both wet and dry compartments. Contractor shall also inspect condition of sand and report to Aquatics Coordinator of condition. Including new gaskets on filter tanks. Contractor shall repair pressure gauges and pneumatic valves as needed. City reserves the right to remove the gauge and valve repair and deduct cost from lump sum of opening costs 6. Service contractor shall install any guard rails, ladders, steps, etc. 7. Service contractor shall have clear communication with Aquatics Coordinator regarding the status of pools |
