Anne Frank Elementary School Renovation and Addition - Mechanical

Exterior work to include: Temporary shoring and selective demolition of Openings in existing building. New structural steel framing for new openings in existing walls. Removal of existing paving, excavation, new cast-in-place concrete wall and column footings, piers, and slabs, steel framed superstructure with concrete floor on metal deck, metal roof decking (including partial acoustic roof decking) with insulation and built-up membrane roofing and all associated metal coping, flashing, and trim work. Reinforced and grouted concrete masonry shear walls. Exterior walls comprised of cold formed metal framing and concrete masonry units finished with brick exterior veneer and composite metal wall panels. Built-up structural steel lintels in concrete masonry unit walls. Aluminum and glass window systems, spandrel panels, and aluminum and fiberglass-reinforced panel doors. New rooftop dunnage framing system on existing roof structure for new mechanical equipment support. Interior Work: Interior work to include: metal stairs and railings, concrete masonry unit partitions, gypsum wall board partitions, hollow metal and wood doors including frames and hardware, automatic fire curtain, glazing, resilient tile and ceramic tile flooring, carpet, rubber flooring, acoustical panel and gypsum ceilings, casework and library furniture, display boards, interior painting, signage, 2 stop elevator. Renovations: Exterior work to include: Window glazing replacement, removal, painting, and re-installation of security screens, new openings for mechanical louvers and new construction connections, aluminum, hollow metal, and fiberglass-reinforced panel, modified bitumen roof repair, and dunnage. Structural infill of existing openings in roof decks. Interior Work: Concrete masonry unit partitions, gypsum wall board partitions, hollow metal and wood doors including frames and hardware, resilient tile, ceramic tile, epoxy resin, and carpet tile flooring, acoustical panel and gypsum ceilings, casework, display boards, interior painting, signage, existing 4-stop elevator repair. Site improvements: electrical utilities, gas and water utilities, storm and sanitary sewer, fencing upgrades, new paving, concrete frost slabs, exterior plantings, painted site markings on existing asphalt.
