Wastewater Pipe Cleaning Services

The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for services to clean and dispose of materials from portions of the wastewater collection and treatment systems. Services are needed to clean portions of the sanitary sewer piping network on an as-needed basis under a continuing services contact. The work to be performed includes services to remove and dispose of accumulated materials from wastewater collection piping. Details of these services are provided in the Supplemental Specifications. Frequency of services will vary throughout the term of the contract. The City intends to award multiple contracts to two or more vendors under this solicitation unless the City determines, after evaluation of bids, that award to only one bidder is in the best interest of the City or that only one bidder is capable of providing the services at the level of quality required. In such cases where an award is made to more than one responsive and responsible bidder, the City shall apportion the work among the various vendors in such manner and at such time as it deems appropriate under the circumstances in its sole discretion and no minimum amount or proportion of work is guaranteed to any single vendor. In most cases, the contractor for each individual project, or for a grouping of projects, will be selected based on lowest cost calculated using the unit prices in each contract. No single project can exceed $250,000.00.
