Description

The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to install 144 concrete footings in locations designated by the County on the Barton Outdoor Rink. The County will utilize a surveyor to mark all footing locations in advance of work beginning. Underground utilities will also be marked. Each footing shall be 12” round by 36” deep and be comprised of 3,500 psi concrete. The footings must be drilled through an existing asphalt pad. Care must be taken to avoid any damage to the playing surface. The finished concrete must be smooth and flush with the asphalt pad with clean edges and no excess concrete outside of the footings. The Contractor shall have the appropriate equipment/machinery/tools, in working order, in order to complete the work without damaging the asphalt playing surface. The Contractor shall keep the property and adjacent areas free from accumulations of debris at all times. At the completion of the work, the Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all work related debris and digging spoils, leaving the work area clean.
