South Brunswick High School CTE Renovations

Description of Project: Remodeling of two interior classroom areas (Area A and Area B) within the existing high school. The scope of work includes architectural, interiors, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical modifications. Area A is a cad/drafting studio and project room that will undergo a refresh with selective demo and wall modifications, a new framed opening between the two spaces, casework/millwork additions, new flooring, new wall paint, and a vinyl applied wall graphic for the architectural and interiors work. Area A includes electrical modifications and additions to outlets, switches, and devices including the addition of ceiling mounted cord reels. The mechanical work in Area A includes the addition of a new exhaust duct for a 3D printer. Area B is an existing nursing classroom, math classroom, and computer room that will become two Allied Health classrooms. The scope of work includes similar modifications to Area A refresh with additional demolition of nonload bearing walls, added casework, new wall stud walls, new doors, concrete floor trenching for pipe replacements, and removing and adding medical curtain tracks for hospital simulation beds. Plumbing includes new sinks, in-floor piping, water heater and exhaust for new clothes dryer unit. Mechanical includes selective demolition and modification to the existing duct system and diffusers due to the combination of two spaces and relocating wall devices. Electrical work includes selective demo of outlets and devices, with new outlets provided throughout the space.
