Description | Call Terry (304) 809-1807 - to schedule a site visit. Sealed Bids will be received by the McDowell County Commission of Welch, West Virginia for the removal of the old heating unit and replacement of a new heat pump located on the roof of the courthouse at 90 Wyoming Street in Welch, WV 24801. Payment schedule will be: 20% project beginning, 30% when project is halfway completed, 50% when both parties agree project is completed. Completion date shall be 30 days from beginning the project, however extensions may be granted per request due to extenuating circumstances. Also, operation hours must be considered and may require weekend work. One (1) set of bid documents, including adequate liability and property damage insurance, proof of valid workers compensation coverage, warranty coverage on materials and labor, contractor's license, and all other necessary certifications/paper work (Non-Conflict of Interest Certification, Purchasing Affidavit, Drug Free workplace Conformance Affidavit and Coversheet, Employment History Disclosure, Ethics Disclosure) shall be enclosed in a sealed Envelope and marked visibly on the outside of the envelope "Courthouse Heating Unit Removal & Replacement". The County Commission nor the County Clerk will be responsible in the event that the U.S. Postal Service or any other courier system fails to deliver the sealed bid to the County Clerk by the given deadline above. No bids will be accepted via facsimile or electronic submission. The County Commission Reserves the Right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or informalities in any or all bids, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the County. |
