Sealed Bids In Duplicate Will Be Received By Town Of San Felipe, Austin County, Texas For Furnishing All Plant, Labor, Material, And Equipment, And For Performing All Work Required For Construction Of: Drainage And Pavement Improvements In Town Of San Felipe, Austin County, Texas Major items of work include: (1) 1-1/2" Thick Hot Mix Hot Laid Asphalt (2) 8" Chemically Mixed Roadway Material (3) 24",18" and 15" Storm Sewer Pipe (4) Driveway Replacement (5) Earthwork, Ditch Grading, Cleaning A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Town of San Felipe or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds(as par value) maybe submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts)wage rate, as issued by the Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Town of San Felipe reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any in formalities in the bidding. The award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid. Bids maybe held by Town of San Fe lipe for a period not to exceed sixty(60)days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not under take any activity in part or in full under this project.
