Description

OPWDD's Broome DDSO is looking to obtain bids to: Exterior Painting . Located at Broome DDSO's Farm to Market IRA 1441 Farm to Market, Endwell, NY 13760. Please be advised that attendance at the site visit is required prior to submitting a bid. Please include contract title in subject line of quote submission email. Selected vendor must abide by the Standard Clauses of New York State Contracts. Selected vendor must provide up to date Certificate of Liability Insurance and up to date NYS Certificate of Workers' Compensation and Disability Insurance, covering the period in which the service will be provided. To be considered for this project, all bids must be submitted on bid forms provided. Any questions or requests for clarification regarding the information provided may be directed to brenda.crumb@opwdd.ny.gov. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. A New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Request is submitted on behalf of OPWDD as the contracting agency. This project will be assigned an Original Wage Schedule with an assigned Prevailing Rate Case number. PRC# 2022008644 Selected vendor must comply with all prevailing wage regulations distributed by the NYSDOL Bureau of Public Work. OPWDD Broome DDSO reserves the right to: o Reject any or all proposals received in response to the IFB/RFP; o Withdraw the IFB/RFP at any time, at the agency's sole discretion; o Make an award under the IFB/RFP in whole or in part;* 14 New York State Procurement Guidelines o Disqualify any bidder whose conduct and/or proposal fails to conform to the requirements of the IFB/RFP; o Seek clarifications and revisions of proposals;* o Use proposal information obtained through site visits, management interviews and the State's investigation of a bidder's qualifications, experience, ability or financial standing, and any material or information submitted by the bidder in response to the agency's request for clarifying information in the course of evaluation and/or selection under the IFB/RFP; o Prior to the bid opening, amend the IFB/RFP specifications to correct errors or oversights, or to supply additional information, as it becomes available; o Prior to the bid opening, direct bidders to submit proposal modifications addressing subsequent IFB/RFP amendments; o Change any of the scheduled dates; o Eliminate any mandatory, non-material specifications that cannot be complied with by all of the prospective bidders; o Waive any requirements that are not material; o Negotiate with the successful bidder within the scope of the IFB/RFP in the best interests of the State; o Conduct contract negotiations with the next responsible bidder, should the agency be unsuccessful in negotiating with the selected bidder; o Utilize any and all ideas submitted in the proposals received; o Unless otherwise specified in the solicitation, every offer is firm and not revocable for a period of 60 days from the bid opening; and, o Require clarification at any time during the procurement process and/or require correction of arithmetic or other apparent errors for the purpose of assuring a full and complete understanding of an offerer's proposal. Broome DDSOO is seeking a vendor to Paint all exterior wood surfaces at 1441 Farm to Market Rd in Endwell, NY. Successful bidder shall also be responsible for repairing or replacing all wood surfaces that are in too poor of condition to accept paint. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to the below scope of work. Pictures are attached to give a general idea of the scope of work but interested vendors must attend a required site visit as detailed on the below general requirements.1. Prep all exterior wood surface for paint by removing all lose paint and pressure washing afterwards. 2. Prep all exterior doors for paint as appropriate to the material that the door is. Prep - scrape off all old paint and make all necessary repairs to all wood trim on home also window trim. Replace any rotten trim. 3. Prime all wood, use a primer rated for outdoor use. (see attached painting standards for further directions). 4. Paint all trim as close to existing color as possible. Painting shall be done according to the attached painting standards including the number of coats of paint. Paint color selected, and paint type shall be approved by facility contact prior to start of work. 5. Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of debris created during project and cleaning/repairing any part of the house damaged during this project (including getting paint on surfaces not meant to be painted). 6. Contractor shall warrantee work for one year from date of payment for job.
