Purchase and Install Air Handling Unit

Scope of Work: • Belimo energy Valve part number EV500SU-495+GRX24-EV (97,Z,1,14,1,2,AHU2) installed per mfgr instructions on chilled water return lines. • Temperature and pressure gauges with ball valves in chilled water supply and return lines. • Auto vents and ball valves on high points of chilled water piping as well as manual drains at low points with ball valves. • Belimo steam control valves shall be installed by contractor1/3, 2/3 valves with a 15 cv on 1/3 valve and a 31 cv on 2/3 valve. • 2 new float and thermostatic traps will need to be installed on each stem coil sized appropriately for the steam coils. • A new steam shutoff valve and strainer will need to be provided before the control valve as well as valves entering each coil. Air vents and vacuum breakers for each coil and a bypass for the steam traps will also need to be provided. • A ball valve, siphon tube, and pressure gauge will need to be install after the steam control valve. • Existing heat recovery coil has glycol in the piping, the glycol will need to be recovered out of the system and reused in the new AHU. • The heat recovery loop will need ball valves and auto vents installed in the high point of the piping, and a manual drain at any low points for maintenance. • Temperature wells and gauges will need to be installed in the incoming and outgoing piping of the AHU. • Any auto vents in heat recovery loop will need to be piped to an overflow tank. • Contractor will need to provide their own electrician for high voltage connections of new AHU, they may need to be present during the mandatory site visit.
